1. The Customer hereby appoints the Energy Broker to act as its representative in respect of any residential or commercial contracts for Energy Supplies, current or future, between the Customer and any Energy Supplier.2. Scope of AuthorityThe Energy Broker is authorised by the Customer to:• obtain Customer Information from any Energy Supplier;• request offers or quotations from or negotiate with Energy Suppliers;• Agree any special terms and conditions for the provision of Energy Supplies over and above an Energy Supplier’s standard terms and conditions of supply as the Energy Broker considers to be appropriate• In respect of any contract for Energy Supplies concluded as a result of services provided by the Energy Broker, at all times during the term of such contract, to communicate with the Energy Supplier and to monitor, manage and administer the Customer’s account to include receiving copy bills, half hourly data and any relevant billing data.3. Customer InformationThe Customer agrees that the Energy Broker and any Energy Supplier may each disclose Customer Information to the other.The Energy Broker will only process personal data for the purposes set out in paragraph 3 and in accordance with the provisions of this Letter of Authority and all applicable laws.4. CommissionThe Customer acknowledges and agrees that Energy Broker may receive a management fee for their services, in the form of a commission which may be added to our c/kWh rate if Energy Broker negotiates or concludes a contract for the provision of Energy Supplies on behalf of the Customer.5. TermThe Energy Broker’s authority starts on the Effective Date and continues for two (2) years. If the Customer revokes the Energy Broker’s authority at any time, any contract already concluded with an Energy Supplier will continue to have full force and effect.6. Customer Representative AuthorityThe Customer’s Representative is authorised to sign this letter of Authority on behalf of the Customer and, once signed, the authority granted will be binding on the customer.7. AuthorisationBy signing this Letter of Authority the Customer authorises Paid To Switch and their representatives to sign, negotiate, terminate and enter into supply contracts on our behalf.8. Law and JurisdictionThis Letter of Authority will be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law. The Irish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with it.9. Customer Information and Personal DataThe Customer agrees that the Energy Consultant and any Energy Supplier may each disclose Customer Information to the other. The Customer hereby authorises the Energy Consultant to disclose information to the Energy Supplier, and requests that the Energy Supplier disclose information to the Energy Consultant for the purposes set out above.In relation to any personal data which may be processed by either the Energy Consultant or the Energy Supplier, the Customer acknowledges that the Energy Consultant is the data controller in respect of its appointment to act on behalf of the Customer and in respect of this Letter of Authority. The Customer also acknowledges that the Energy Supplier is a data controller in respect of any agreement to provide Energy Supplies. The Customer acknowledges that this authority can be revoked, in which case Energy Consultant is no longer authorised to share data with the Energy Supplier. The Customer acknowledges that the Energy Consultant will only process limited amounts of personal data for the purposes set out above and in accordance with the provisions of this Letter of Authority, its own Privacy Notice which the Energy Consultant has provided for review, and all applicable laws.This Letter of Authority is entered into by the parties in consideration of the mutual obligations and promises set out herein.I confirm that my broker has discussed with me the protections that are available for vulnerable customers.I confirm I have given my broker permission to enter into domestic contracts on my behalf.
